How to socialize with neighbours child?

My next door neighbour and me want to socialise doggy and 3 year old asap so we have happy days in future.

Anyone got any simple tips on doing this best way?games they can play with? Pup is nearly 9 weeks old.

Obviously both will be supervised at all times.

Depends upon both the child and the pup. If the child is a calm child that listens and the pup knows how to be gentle, no problems. Put pup on leash and hold leash and have child approach and pet gently. If the child is overyly active, noisy and doesn't listen to be quiet and gentle with pup or if the pup is a tear around, then limit contact until both learn more.
