| New trick During the course of teaching Henry to 'sit pretty' ( sit up and beg ) I made an error in the treat position (using lure training ) and he stood completely up on his hindlegs  . I was shocked at how well he can balance like that . Much easier than the 'sit pretty' . Obviously he didn't get a reward as it wasn't what we were working on . As he's such a natural at that I thought I'd train him to do it on command at some point . Henry is a very athletic , lean , small build rotti so I don't think there's too much concern about joint stresses . ( I know there is always concern  )Anyone else teach this trick ? If so what do you call it ? ( I was thinking of 'stand tall' )

| Re: New trick we taught our lab/chow mix the same trick and we called it "Sit Pretty" I want to teach it to Harley but since he is a boy I thought maybe we would call it "sit Handsome" or "sit nice". I just dont think "Pretty" is his style! hehehe
