I've created a monster!

Harley LOVES her evening walks so I thought it would be cool to train her to get her leash when it's time to go for a walk . Now she's constantly dragging her leash over to go out for walk She also knows the routine, as soon as I get in from work in the evening we usually have our training session/walk, today she was standing at the door with her leash in her mouth LOL!!

Re: I've created a monster!

LOL! thanks for the GOOD Laugh! My Harley has pretty much done the same thing. I have the leash hanging on the front door knob. He KNOWS if it is light outside when I come home it is time for a walk.
My Commute home is 1.5 hours, so when I get in the door I let him out of his crate to go outside to potty, He runs outside, does his thing and then I let him back in. I go potty myself and then we go on a walk.
My husbands hours have changed so now he gets home well before I do. So he lets harley out of the crate when he gets home.
Long story short, I walk in the door, close the door behind me and Harley comes RUNNING to the front door, grabs his leash and i cant eve go potty before i have a BEGGING rottie at my feet with a leash in his mouth! hehehe Its pretty cute but there are days where it is annoying as heck! hehehe
He is a sweetheart!

Yeah I know how that feels, I have to to put the leash up 4 or 5 times and keep telling her "not now" till she stops pestering me

Awww, I couldn't help but laugh!!! That's so cute. I thought about training Hercules to do that too, but after what you've said I think I might be afraid to try it now!
