Same with us Lisa. We took the Basic OB twice & loved every minute of it. Like someone else mentioned we would step it up a notch, such as in a down stay I would walk out of the room instead of standing in front of Julius.

I just think that it's SO important to keep them busy. Hey, if you have yummy treats they really don't care if they're doing the same ol' boring stuff over & over. ;)

I'm not allowed to do anything off leash because there is a lady in the class that doesn't like it. She is scared that Zack will eat her little dog, even if the trainer said that it wasn't going to be a problem.

That is why I'm takin advanced to at the same time.

Thank you very much for your responed, I find it is good for Zack to do as much as possible.

Re: basic obedience again???

Sajan and I have taken so many level 1 & 2 classes that I think he could teach the class :p I sometimes feel guilty when the other people in the class start to think something is wrong with their dogs because Sajan is making them look bad. I am quick to explain he has been in many classes. Our reasons for taking the lower classes over and over were different than yours but I must say he sure is polished now. We will be moving on to level 3 this fall which is all off leash.

As long as your dog is under control, then you should be able to go off leash just like any other dog in the class. If one handler has a problem, tell her to get over it :p Just my opinion.
