I'm sorry but I disagree with Susan Clothier on this. Putting the collar midway on the neck encourages the collar to slip. I agree both rings need to be hooked to the leash and as was discussed earlier, very soft hands are required to use a prong without overcorrecting.

| I use my prong mid-way as suggested by Suzanne and it works wonders. No need to put it higher, although I'm sure there are dogs out there who need it in that sensitive spot.
