Teaching the "Show" Stand I didn't know how else to title this. I've seen a lot of pictures here on this forum and other websites of dogs in that stance - chest forward and hind legs far back. It really makes them look great, how do you teach that position? I've tried to get Rocco in that stance but, since I don't have a clue what I'm doing, I thought I'd ask for advice first.

Thank you, Brooke - I didn't know where to start looking for that in the archives. Obviously, I didn't even know the name for it. As soon as Rocco's left wrist is better I'll use those techniques. Thanks again!:D

Sophies-Mom, thanks for the link but they're a little too pricey for me. I'm not planning to show Rocco and we're only just now getting into intermediate training classes with the hopes of advancing to titles at some point. Our trainer thinks we should definitely pursue this because Rocco's doing really well. Maybe at some point I'll get more involved - I saved that website to my 'favorites' for future reference. Thanks again!.:)
