Who uses them and why and which one?

I am serious considering starting to use one on Sajan. My main reason is his dog aggression issues. I am in the research and learn phase right now.

Thanks

Stay with Dogtra and thank me later. We use just about every kind and dogtra is the best. Of course, that is my opinion. They are tough, durable, waterproof, weatherproof, reliable, charge FAST and don't give false signals. Ipersonally have the 1200 ncp. Partner has the 2000 model. Remote is a lot larger, but it has more juice. REcently, however, we have been usingthe 200 ncp gold, which dogtra is marketing as a mid line model. All the features of the 1200 ncp, but the collar receiver is a lot smaller. Great little collar for the $$$. I have an innotek sitting at home that I am not even sure where it is. That is how much I like the dogtra.

Thanks Muckdogs. I was leaning toward Dogtra if I get one. I am also leaning toward getting one.

I use them and have 3 of them. A Tri-tronics, an Innotek and a Dogtra. The dogtra is the superior collar.

I would have to look at the model I have- don't remember on the top of my head. I got it to discourage my boy from humping people. He wasn't aggressive or dominat, just real happy to meet strangers. More recently I have used it as part of stay. He has been visiting the cute bitch next to him.
I had borrowed an old tri-tronics model that you had to change out the contacts- big pain. I went with a model that you can dial from the remote. I have been very happy with it.
