Jumping on wet grass?

I'm definitely a bit of a worrywort when it comes to my dogs, so I was wondering if you guys can tell me if I'm being unreasonably cautious.

I haven't been practicing the broad jump and high jump on days when the grass is wet from rain for fear of Ilsa slipping and somehow injuring herself.

However, for the last couple weeks, it seems to rain almost daily, so this is really making it hard to get any practice in on the jumps. Is it safe enough for her to jump when it's wet out?

Well, lower the heigth and shorten the length of the broadjump. If you find there is not slipping, you can raise it a bit at a time.

Just a thought

I know what you mean Laurie bc we've had rain too and Czar zooms around the yard and yesterday he slipped and fell on his side and rolled down a hill, lol. It sure was a sight and we ended up laughing our butts off and thankfully he got up and resumed his zoomies:D . Then there was a time about a year ago where he did slip and hurt himself for a moment but recovered fast. Do you have any old carpet or non slip material that you could put down until the weather gets better, just a thought. We always have old rugs laying around so I thought I'd mention it:D .
