WooHoo! Another Obedience Match

OK, here's the latest installment in our ongoing quest for a CD. :p :)

Ilsa and I shook off the aftereffects of Rott Stock and headed out this morning to a fun match. It was, by far, our best performance so far. Ilsa was with me every step of the way, and I wasn't even nervous this time.

In between exercises, I took Dawn's excellent suggestion of breaking up the tension by doing some fun spins, and it really kept her focused and HAPPY. Really great. The judge's only suggestion was that I walk faster on the normal pace because it would just be more flowing for us.

:D

Aack! I don't know, I'm SCARED!!

There are several shows local to me during the last few weeks of September, so I'm sort of shooting for that, if things keep going well. I think the entry deadlines are around Sept. 3, so maybe I'll just send in an entry. Can I pull out if I don't feel ready by the time the show gets here?

BTW, I'm eating a Peep as I type this. :D

No need to be scared, all that practice WILL pay off!

You can pull your entry up till the entry deadline. After the deadline you forfeit your entry. I say go for it, at worst you can just consider it an expensive "match".

I'm saving my peeps for a rainy day. I don't want to eat all of them too quickly, and then have to wait until Oct for my next fix.

Good luck!!
