| Training Prices. What do you guys pay for training prices in the US? For instance. Obedience classes here are $30-$40 Australian ($20US) per year, which gives you 1 weekly training session of 45 minutes. Tracking training is around the same for a weekly session. Most courses are run through dog clubs and associations. A few breeders run them.

| I pay $55 (US) every 6 weeks for a one hour advanced obedience class per week held inside an air conditioned building set up with a ring and mats. I feel very very lucky to have a facility like that for such a low price. |

| Our very first class, Puppy 1, was $75 for the 8 wk session. A coupon is distributed mid-way through every session that entitles the bearer to $15 off any subsequent class. We've been continuously enrolled in classes since 2000 and use every coupon, so we pay $60. I recently lucked out on private training, in addition to the classes, for $20 an hour. All classes are 1 hour long, and 8 wks in duration, except our Tracking class which is 6 wks. Happy Training! kathy |

| We pay $75.00(US) for our obedience classes. Each class is an hour long and this lasts for 6 weeks. The price is the same for puppy through novice comp classes. I paid $65.00 for Akasha's agility class and those classes were 45 minutes each for 6 weeks.

| At the club where we train beginning classes to non-members are $75(US). This is for 8 one-hour sessions held once a week. The next tier of classes (between beginning and competition ready) are $50 for 8 one-hour sessions. I have no idea what the competition ready classes cost for non-members. I think if you've made it that far you've probably joined the club. Once you become a member it's $30/year plus volunteer hours in support of the club plus $10 for each class. I'm about two thirds through the membership requirements but probably won't be a member before I have to pay for my July class. There's another fifty bucks in the club's coffers. Oh well. Christine |

| I go to 2 different facilities (and just signed up at a third, because it's the only place within 100 miles offering tracking.) At both, most 8 week obedience/agility classes are about $80.00. I do drop in classes; using a prepaid punch card that's $6 at one place, $8.00 at the other. The tracking class is $100.00 for 8 weeks.

| Being a trainer I can tellyou the variations I've heard of through my peers Here in NH group classes are 4-12 weeks long and range from $50-$250 (and this price has no bearing on how many weeks it is, I've seen low priced long classes and high priced 4 week classes) Private lessons range from $20-$120 per hour I think this seems to be fairly typical across he Us except places like New York City etc tend to be very high priced You have it very cheap in Australia!!!

| Classes are nine weeks. $65 for the first class, $55 for subsequent class. Enrolling two or more dogs yields an additional 10% discount. Plus another 10% discount for first class if dog is a rescue. These are group sessions with around 10 dogs in each class. |

| The All-Bred Kennel Club in my area charges $60.00 for non-members, $40.00 for club members. These prices are for puppy, beginning obed, novice prep, agility, etc. The sessions are 8 wks ,1 hour weekly. Class size is limited. The facility is matted and air-conditioned. The kennel club is into agility....lots of equipment available.

| I have it dirt cheap I think!!! And the training is quite good. Although the club I go to is outdoors. But in the winter months it's indoors which is good.

| For Dante, it was 90$ for an 8 week session of puppy training and then over 500$ for the Basic Obedience (schutzhund style of training), but with that, we get lifetime (of the dog) training tips and advice for behavioral issues. With Aedia on the clicker training, it was $300 for the six-week session.
