| No, but if no other response are forthcoming try the Los Angeles area Rottweiler Rescue group for ideas. Years ago I had a great trainer in Whittier--which is outskirts of LA county toward Orange County, but don't recall his name, and even if I did, he is probably dead and you are probably not near Whittier. Are you near Woodland Hills? Someone I think Moondog lists location as Woodland Hills. Also the author of the book Dog Whisperer is in the SF Valley I believe, if you wanted to go with clicker and liked that style. www.raisewithpraise.com ? I have no idea what he is like in person. You could also try a forum search for "Los Angeles" and see what (or who) comes up, if no suggestions come in otherwise. |

| If none of the previous suggestions lead you to a trainer, try www.apdt.com where you can do a trainer search by city. LA is a big place and it can easily be 30 miles between training classes. I'm sure you'll be able to find some good training within a short distance of where you live using one of these suggestions. Make sure you observe a class or two before you sign up and read the section on the link I provided about how to choose a trainer before you go. That will help you determine which trainer best fits your needs. Good luck! :) |
