Good handler vest

I am looking for recomendations for a good training vest for myself. I have seen Boyt's vest. Call me cheap, but don't need a $100 vest. Especially in orange. :D What I am looking for (actually two of them). One light weight for summer (nylon wind breaker type) and since I live in Washington, a heavier one that is water resistant when we have our liquid sunshine this fall/winter.
My requirments are simple. I need the pocket in the back for a tug, a clip on the shoulder for a leash, and a couple pockets for treats and stuff. Don't need the vest to be a substitute for my gear bag.;)
If you know anyone who makes them or has them on a site, please let me know.

Look in a sporting goods store for fisherman's vests. They work great for training, photography, or taking along lunch!

In the summer when I am wanting to wear a light pair of shorts, I tie on a carpenter's nail apron - which holds quite a bit of stuff as well as has the tie for me to snap thing to. (about $3 at Home Depot)

I got my "tracking" vest on sale at Cabela's. It was a fishing vest. I got the lightweight, mesh on the back style. It has a ton of pockets, both inside and outside. My only complaint about is that some of the pockets use velcro to close and the stitching is coming off of the velcro.

Judi,
You couldn't get me into shorts and an apron for ANYTHING in the world, hot or not:D ...I use a fisherman's/hunters lightweight cotton vest for summer and a sleevless quilted vest I got at a service station on the highway here in France...back zipper compartment and all. Just great and only about $20 :) cheap me!

Hey - it's a carpenter's apron!!!!! Made of heavy canvass, about 8 inches with two pockets designed to hold nails and it ties around your waist. Where did I get the idea? From the GUYS in ScH tracking. One pocket holds your treats and the other your articles.

I live in a very hot climate and although I have a selection of about 4 vests I'm not adding a layer when it's 90 degrees or so even at night.

Naw, it is not a kitchen apron......... I don't even own one of those.

Judi,
I wasn't referring to the genderness (?????????????) of the apparel, but more what goes into it and what can be seen:D

Whew!!!! I was afraid you thought I was wearing a ruffled flowered thingy and of course the picture that makes made me laugh myself! I should try that sometime and watch the faces....

I live in a desert clime. Sturdy shoes, a tee shirt and cargo shorts with pockets are the general wear until it cools off. Yeah, we look a bit strange, but the training field has never been fashion conscious anyway.

You can say that again....I wear lumber jackets (work for a forestry school) heavy gortex shoes or boots, hunting gloves and my fabulous sleeveless jacket in winter......hours spent in the cold/rain can be bad for the complexion.....right?:D
