Advanced training in NE Florida...

Are there any "quality" training facilities in the Jacksonville area?
I'm looking for advanced trainers. Genghis Khan has learned the basics and is extremely obedient, now it's time for the next step. Any leads would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I’m a SW Florida resident who was looking for basic obedience for my 3 month old rotty Madison. I looked in the newspaper, local newspapers (tabloid type), phone book, called my vet along with other vets in the area, and the local police department as well. Hope this helps.

A local search turned up no good, but I did an internet search and found a Gainsville Shutzhund club which is not too far away from me. If you're interested in advanced training for your baby in the future have a look at this site: www.dvgamerica.com for a listing of some clubs in your area.

i believe there is a SchH club in Jacksonville - there is also a Jacksonville Dog Club (allbreed), that was brought up in conversation the other day.... lemme do some backtracking, and i'll get back to you.....

You need to specify what kind of advanced training you are interested in. Then it will be easier to direct you.

Actually I'm looking to train the "Emperor" in all three phases of schutzhund eventually. With that in mind, I want a club that can accomodate our needs as me and my young'n gain more experience.

i have found the
north florida tracking club on Covington Creek Drive -

i have dug a little bit, and i do not see a dvg club, a usa club, or a rottweiler specific club, for that matter.

ya might try contacting the club above, to see if the locals are in the know.
