New to Rottweiler Dot Net

We finally got our boy little Diablo and
have been reading the forums for months
thought we would join because we know we
are going to need help when and if we ever
have any problems either health or training.

He's not our first Rott just the first baby
in quite a few years. This whole housebreaking thing is something else.I
need any and all suggestions on tips for going outside and not in the floor LOL.

Thanks for the advice in advance.

Lynn & Diablo

You will find lots of great housetraining info at this website:

Housetraining: http://www.uwsp.edu/psych/dog/lib-SpecTrain.htm#house

Crate training info here:

Be fair, firm, consistent. No hitting, no physical punishment. Reward with food ALL outdoor elmination. Every single time. This more than any thing else will teach your pup to go outside. STRICT supervision indoors is also important.

Have fun, good luck, and make arrangments now for puppy kindergargen class!

Thanks everyone for the tips. I have been
looking into crates today what is the best
size to go with? I would like to get one he
can grow into as they are quite costly. What
is the best size for a full grown male?

Thanks for the advice in advance. ;)
