Jumping at wall

Hi

I need help... How can I train my dog not to jump at the wall.

It is a five foot brick wall which has been extenden to almost 8 feet by placing iron railing on top (without any sharp points).

Whenever she hears someone outside the wall , she jumps. By jumping she is able to see over the wall. (there is a securely locked gate, but it faces sideways so she cannot see the road or garden in front of the wall)

The jumping is also accompanied by barking. When I take her on a lease to the front of the house, she is relaxed and quite pleased to see what is going on. She likes to see the kids play.
