Yesterday at puppy class i bought Axel a gentle leader. The trainer helped me fit it on him correctly. He didn't like it much, so we just left it on a few minutes. Then we proceeded on with class.
Just now, i got it back out. I must say those things are a bit tricky to figure out at first.
http://www.rottweiler.net/rottie/smile.gif However, Axel put up with my fumbling & fiddling with only a couple grumbles. haha Finally i got it figured out & we went for a short walk down to the street corner & back.
These things are fantastic!! They give you so much more control. He pawed & rubbed his nose in the ground trying to get it off, he's still not crazy about it. I however think it's the best thing since sliced bread! Walks are so much easier now & it enhances training as well, such as jumping up & waiting at street corners.
