training collar?

My new little guy Onyx is about 16 1/2 weeks now. I was wondering what age do you start walking them with a training collar?

For me a very rough rule of thumb is 20 weeks for Halti and 24+ weeks very anything else.

I'll go along with Mick, 20 wks is about right. Thats when I started my dog on a training collar. I tried a "Halti, Gentle Leader, Choke, when they were around 6months and nothing worked except for the "Prong Collar", it worn sup up near the dogs ears it works great, but used wrong it can do more harm than good.
