| heel fear?? my rotti will heel if he is on the inside of the sidewalk near the grass, but if he is streetside, he has an intense fear??? he doesnt want to walk streetside...is he afraid of the cars? how do i fix that? |

| For a dog to have this kind of fear shows an underlying problem in the temperament. The temperament can not be fixed, but you can make allowances to help your dog cope with the problem. You can teach your dog to heel on both the left and right side. I would teach him two different commands such as "forward" for right side heeling, and of course "heel" for the left side. This way your boy can obey you, and always be away from the street traffic regardless of the direction you are going. |

| he is just simp;y weird, he doesnt appear to be afraid of the cars when he watches them pass....just stubborn to walk near them, like he doesnt trust what a car will do(im not so sure he is wrong). gonna try to take it up with my trainer. |
