We'll be glad to see you again. We have a dynamite field already reserved. It's a huge fenced in section of a very nice park. It will be ideal. Plenty of restrooms, big level grassy areas. Covered shelters. The judge is
Hans-Jurgen Radtke, ADRK.

I believe Mr. Radtke is one of 3 ADRK judges that have the credentials to judge both events.

Hey Skip - I'm looking forward to coming over for the weekend too and though I have no working dog and don't even have a Rottie now, I've been in touch with John Bernard about volunteering in whatever capacity needed. I know you're buds with him ... Honestly, I can't wait.

It will be a GREAT 3 day combo event. We're getting a lot of inquiries already.

Depending on how training goes, I'd love to have my girl in Schutzhund competition and both my dogs in the show. We'll see, but it sounds good to me!

We are getting a LOT of interest already for the Schutzhund Nationals. We will definitely have more dogs competing than there have been in a lot of past years.

Hmmmm.... Ohio in October. What's the weather like? Never been.

It's a lot like April in Ohio, which means anything goes. Seriously, though, October is one of the best times of year here. It's gorgeous. Usually cooling off from a miserable August/September, but not TOO cool. We love fall in the Midwest. It's the best.

Hello Dawn...for some reason your post never showed up as a "new post" when I do my regular searches. Sorry I did not see this before now. If you go to this link on the USRC website (USRC Current Events) you will see the contact person (John Bernard), and his email address for our show in October. If you email John, I'm sure he will give you my email address and phone number for info about the akron area. I live in Akron, and John lives in the Columbus area.
