Exclamation 1.5 year old male and 1 year old female need adoption in SC

My husband is in the military and we are having to relocate and are unable to take our rottis with us :(. We have 1.5 year old male, fixed, who has received beginning, intermediate, and advanced training from Petsmart. His name is Tiny "Bear" and he is absolutely wonderful. He's great with kids, other dogs, and cats.

We also have a 1 year old female, who has received beginning training and is fixed. Her name is Ebony and she is also great with kids, other dogs, and cats. Both dogs are house trained.

These are amazing animals and it truly breaks my heart to have part with them so we are desperately seeking a good home for them. Both dogs are very laid back and they absolutely love people. If anyone is interested please contact us asap.

Re: 1.5 year old male and 1 year old female need adoption in SC

The rescue forum was never intended for members to offer their(s), or other(s) pet(s) as adoption candidates. We are, simply put, not equipped to provide such service.

We understand the importance for evaluation, of both the pet as well as prospective new owner. Rescue organizations, to their credit, do extensive evaluation and testing of their rescue candidates. They foster the pets before placement, they provide health testing and veterinary care. They research the pets past, possible issues, then make important discussion's on placement. They investigate application's, perform home checks, do follow ups. The short list above should indicate how ill equipped the forums are to provide a service as important as "Rescue"

With that said, if you have a dog that needs placement, we will do our best to provide you with referrals to rescue groups that may be of assistance to you.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Hi,

MY name is Lew and I live in Lexington also. You might want to contact Marvin Mathias. He is the area trainer for Petsmart and he also helps re-home dogs. He works at the Lexington store. I will be at the Lexington Petsmart Saturday ( 3/19/20) I will be there with my Rotti from 10a-2pm. We go there every Saturday for socialization. She is a registered Therapy dog. Look us up if you get this in time to meet us and I will hook you up with Marvin and with another rescue group that meets there on Saturday.

We will be easy to find as everyone there knows my Rotti (Scooby).

Lew
