Rottweiler Rescue Congratulations! You've decided to adopt a Rottweiler! Talk to fellow adopters, rescue groups and those who offer guidance and support. What does a rescue group do? How is a dog prepared for placement? Is this dog a good match for me?

TRANS: Orange TX Lafayette LA - Oct 2 - 1 LEG

This is a Southern States Rottweiler Rescue (SSRR) transport. All adopting and foster homes are screened and references are checked.

Well, the hurricanes have definitely taken a toll on Markie's transport. This is my 4th attempt to try and get Markie to her new home.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, I just need 1 leg to get Markie to her new home. She has been waiting so long to get home!

Here is what is needed on Saturday, October 1:

9:25 am - 11:05 am
Orange TX Lafayette LA - NEEDED
100 miles 1 hr 40 mins

Please take a look at the entire transport below. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

*********************************

Assistance is needed in transporting Markie from Houston TX to Holiday FL, Saturday and Sunday, October 2-3. Markie is going from her foster home to her forever home.

Markie is a 10 month old female weighing approx 60 lbs. She is UTD on shots, spayed, housebroken, and HW negative. Markie is a fun-loving, outgoing girl. She absolutely loves to have her belly rubbed. She does pretty well on a leash, with some tugging, but responds well when she is corrected on the leash.
Although she has limited contact with children, she has shown no problem with the neighborhood children.
Markie likes to move around in the vehicle and likes to help you drive. So crating Markie is probably a good idea.

Markie will not have her own crate for the transport.
She will be traveling with a leash, collar, rabies tag, food, vet records, health certificate and SSRR paperwork.

If you can assist with this transport please contact Katrin Sexton directly at
kas6298 @ yahoo.com (remove spaces).
Please DO NOT reply to the list, I would hate to miss your offer of assistance.
