They sure looked like they were having fun to me. Trent and Chopper are beautiful together.

What an awesome video.. I am really wanting Cash to become a therapy dog, I know how loving puppies are, and he is so much more loving then Gypsy ever was when she was his age.. I really hope I can use him to make kids like that little boy happy..

I think doing so would really be good for both you and Cash! And we really need more publicity like this for the pits and rotts. Imagine if the kids mother attended a council meeting regarding BSL and banning Rotts. I'm sure she would have a lot to say on the matter.

I give the dog credit, the child was actually mauling the dog, this would be a very good video to show children how NOT to act around dogs, I realize this kid is in treatment, but that doesn't give him the right to maul the dog, the rubbing and grabbing and most dogs would have bit him, Chopper is a saint :0)

Re: 7 Year old cancer patient mauled by Rottweiler!

Just for fun, I emailed Fox news to ask why the Rottweiler breed wasn't mentionned. That was over a week ago... and I had sent another mail a couple of days ago again just in case mine got lost in the electronic pile... still no reply. Can't say I am shocked.

Is the owner of Panzer & Chopper a member of RDN? I loved this video, I posted it up on another forum that I am a member of. Every chance I get for good press, I take it!

Re: 7 Year old cancer patient mauled by Rottweiler!

Wonderful video!
I thought Chopper was quite well behaved considering the little boy was fairly rough with Chopper. The little boy even had Chopper's face and ears in his hands and was rubbing back and forth pretty hard. Very well done Chopper!
Thanks for posting the video Roscoe.

Amazing dog! The boy looked so happy, it was as if by licking the boy he took his pain away. Thanks for sharing.

Re: 7 Year old cancer patient mauled by Rottweiler!

This is a fine example of a great working dog.A fine ambassador for our breed who made good at least one day in that boy's hospital-stay.Fine video and I wished the breed came more in the news with toppics like these instead the one's we are used to see.

Looked to me like they both enjoyed each others' roughness. Good video.

Great story! It is a shame that "Rottweiler" wasn't mentioned. The fact is, the dog made the boy happy, and that is all that matters. I hope to have my young male become a therapy dog too. He is far to hyper right now!

Re: 7 Year old cancer patient mauled by Rottweiler!

Great story - great video. Those two definitely have a special bond, roughness and all. Especially good to see after I just watched the video about the "tazered" rottweiler in FL. They certainly made sure they reported the breed name in that case.
