U. S. Senate passes Bill!!

The U. S. Senate unanimously passed the Animal Fighting Prohibition Enforcement Act on April 10th........The House of Representatives passed the same bill, H. R. 137, late last month..
The only thing remaining is President Bush's signature...

Now, Federal law enforcement officials have the tools they they need to uproot these underground animal fighting enterprises...

I received this wonderful news from the humane society yesterday and wanted to share...
War's not over..but it is a victory..

I am against underground fighting stuff (it's as sick as sick can get).

But at the same time, I am worried what else is included in that law that "supposedly" serves this goal, but in a year or two from now will be used to for something else (such as restricting Rottweilers, to name just one).
