Do not have all the imformation at the moment, but my news paper has reported this morning that a nine year old boy was chased from his friends house and attacked by the families three Rottweilers [1 male 2 female].
By the sounds of it the two boys where alone and the owner was out. She is reported to have said that the dogs where secure in the kitchen and doesnt know how they got out.There was a new litter of pups in the house,im wondering did these kids go into the kitchen and start picking up the pups and the dogs have gone crazy.Will update when i hear more.

Boy mauled by three rottweilers
A nine-year-old boy is in hospital after an attack by three rottweilers, who chased him into his home.

The pets were meant to be secured in a neighbour's kitchen, but escaped from the house and attacked the boy in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.

His father prised open one dog's jaws and dragged all three out of the house in Slindon Close, Chesterton.

The victim may need plastic surgery for more than a dozen bite wounds. One of the dogs has been put down.

The boy, who is in hospital, has bite wounds to his face, back, arms and legs.

Since the attack, at about 1700 GMT on Monday, one of the dogs, a male, has been destroyed.

Crown Prosecution Service

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said the boy was treated at the scene by paramedics, before being taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.

Police are waiting to speak to the boy and a friend who was with him.

"When we have, we will be in a better position to assess what, if anything, happens next - including whether or not the two other dogs should be destroyed.

"We will be submitting a report to the Crown Prosecution Service for advice on whether prosecution is appropriate," he said.

This the latest in a string of dog attacks in recent months.

On New Year's Day, five-year-old Ellie Lawrenson was mauled to death by her uncle's pit bull terrier in St Helens, Merseyside.

Last year five-month-old Cadey-Lee Deacon died after being mauled by two rottweiler guard dogs in the living quarters of a pub in Leicester.

my main question here was the boys must have had access to the dogs even tho the owners were. if so those boys were way too young to hae such access in a house alone even without dogs

Why where these young boys left alone? It really annoys me how thick these owners are, you have a female who's just had puppies and you leave two young boys? Forgive me if i'm wrong but puppies are a magnet for
children and they where bound to want to see them. These people should be held responsible i would never have left them!

I agree Buddysdad,and isnt it strange how it didnt make the front page and wasnt flashed on every news channel,i think they call it bang to rights !!!!!!

kids along with access to new puppy litter. sound like the dogs were protects the pups. boys are always up to no good. failure of proper perental supervision
