Here comes trouble.

For those of you who live in Texas, you might want to keep your eyes open for some trouble headed your way.

She apparently had been playing unsupervised in the back yard of 1117 Darby St. where four Rottweilers were kept. At some point, one or more of the dogs attacked the girl, causing the injuries, Pitner said.
4 year old - unsupervised - 4 dogs - sheesh!:(

Re: Here comes trouble.

That was just asking for trouble.. I cant see why anyone would let a 4-year-old child play unsupervised with ANY dog, let alone 4 grown rottweilers..

Re: Here comes trouble.

And who's to blame here???? Those two adults inside the house!!!!! The 4 year old paid the highest price - but the dogs will likely pay with their lives. So sad - so preventable - such a sucker punch to the gut - because as an owner of rottweilers - YOU HAVE TO KNOW that if something tragic happens, all fingers will point to the breed of dog!!!! These people had 4 - they knew - they had to.....poor child - I hope she recovers completely and I hope someone in her life will spend some quality time helping her overcome any fears she might have now of big dogs - particularly big black dogs......

Re: Here comes trouble.

Thanks for the heads up!! Sooo very, very sad. I agree with everyone on who is ultimately responsible here. My roommate has a 4 year old son who absolutely adores "Tiny". He is constantly asking (more like begging) if "Tiny" can come out of my room and play. But his mother and I never let him play with "Tiny" unless I am there.

Re: Here comes trouble.

That is heart breaking, I hope the little girl is alright. I also hope other parents will learn from this, 4 years old and unsupervised?!?!?!? Sometimes common sense is not so common.
