| This news article seems to be from Feb 2001. It refers to the attack of Dianne Whipple as being "last month". I checked the date and at the beginning of the article it says Feb 6. At the bottom of the page it says it was last updated on Feb 7, 2001. However, the articles on the right side seem like they are current. Anyway, in the right hand column are a couple of good articles under Dog Safety Resources. The first one is about avoiding dog bites. To sum that one up, it says in the last paragraph that the legal responsibility of the dog's actions needs to be placed on the dog's owner. That's very good. Too bad all those wanting to start BSLs in their areas don't understand that. They all need to read that article. The other article is about keeping dogs on a leash. |
