Beginner & Advanced Beginners Tracking Clinic, July 14&15, Bernardston, MA

Pioneer Valley Kennel Club holds a beginner and advanced beginners tracking clinic July 14 & 15, 2007 in Bernardston, MA. The instructor is PVKC member Dorie Viguers.

Advanced beginner dogs should have been introduced to tracking at a beginning clinic or at home. These dogs know what tracking is about and can follow a stranger's track that has aged between 30-60 minutes and have been introduced to at least one open turn. The clinic builds on this basic knowledge and works toward right angle turns and longer tracks. Instruction for handlers focuses on line handling, track laying, and map making.

Non club members - $120 for both days
$75 for Sat.
$45 for Sat.
Observer - $60 both days

There is room for 12 handlers each with one dog. Make checks payable to PVKC and send to Dorie Viguers, 43 Eden Trail, Bernardston, MA 01337 by June 29, 2007.

PVKC members and handlers attending for two days have first priority.
