| Pumpkin Doggie Cookies 1/2 cup canned pumpkin 1/2 cup water 2 Tablespoons oil such as sesame, vegetable, olive 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 cup whole rolled oats 2 cups flour, either whole wheat, rice or unbleached white Combine pumpkin, water, oil, cinnamon, and nutmeg into a bowl. Gradually add oats and flour. Roll dough to 1/4" thickness and cut with cookie cutter or into squares. Bake on an ungreased baking sheet at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Check often to see if they are done. They should be thin and crisp. |

| Re: Pumpkin Doggie Cookies oh, i'm definitly trying these. i made some other homemade treats, bland as heck...but thet loved them. trying to get away from the crap at the store, but the "good" stuff is to much rite now with 3 dogs and husband not working. |
