In the very very early hours of the morning, you will hear that tail thumping and know that he has left his presence with you for all time. Such a dog never truly goes away.

Annette, I am sooo sorry for the loss of such a great testimony to the breed. Our beloved breed could use more Aiks in their corner. There are few and far between true good GSDs anymore and it looks like we just lost another. Hildy sends her biggest slobberiest GSD kiss to her aunt Annette and she's not big on kissing just anyone. Big hugs to you from me, Janet

Hey Christopher......I guess I can't let you work my boy now :( :( You would have loved him.
Great dogs are just that....GREAT. I'm sure it would've been an honor. Your posts are touching.

There is soooo much time invested in the working relationship. I'm sure it's really gotta hit home. My condolences.

Annette....may I shed a tear with you? We love our special friends with our whole hearts. When they leave us we have such a heavy hole that just burns with sadness. I pray the pain goes away. And soon may you smile again when thinking of your beloved Aiks. marianne

It's sad our little ones time on earth is so short. You'll see him again at the bridge, till then it's nice you have such wonderful memories.

Oh Annette, I'm so very truly sorry for your loss. I wish I had your talent of comforting. But as you have said in the past to me and sat and listened to my whining and crying on the phone -it's never easy!!! They're never with us long enough.

Goodbye sweet Aik! Have fun at the bridge!

Annette - my thoughts are with you.

Pat
