Re: My Boy

I am so very, very sorry for your loss of Beau.
He sounds like a wonderful boy whom was loved very much (I am sure he knew that too!).
It is incredibility hard to let go. I sure feel your pain.
Thankfully you have a lot of great memories to keep in your heart until you can be together again.
RIP Beau, fly high with the angels. You are in very good company.

Re: My Boy

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope your new baby (Beau's legacy) will be with you and remind you of "your Beau times together" for many, many, many years to come.

Re: My Boy

Firstly I would like to thank everyone for their kind words at this time.

That said I know that I would not have done anything different because I honestly feel that Beau told us he was ready.
On Sunday we took Beau and Mabel to our local park. Hubby Paul dropped me off with Mabel so that we could walk along the river, he then drove with Beau to the other end and waited with him in the car. Usually Beau would be on the edge of the hatch really alert and nuzzling all the dogs as they came up to the car and stuck their head in today he just laid their raising his head occasionally to the ones that he recognized. The only time he showed any sign of interest was when Mabel got back into the car to go home.
When we got home he just laid on his bed and he looked so sad, my heart broke for him, I think that was when I made up my mind as to what he was telling us.

Yes it hurts it hurts like hell and i miss him terribly but the thing that is getting me through this is the fact that he is looking down on me from the bridge running and playing saying "THANKS MUM".

RIP Baby Boy I miss you

Beau 23/09/96-21/04/08.
