Still missing you terribly Bronte

Hi everyone, its been 6 weeks since we lost our faithful companion Bronte and to tell you the truth I couldn't even bring myself to visit this forum as I am still so heartbroken about it. As I expected it made me very emotional, we are all still grieving for her so I thought it may help to post my thoughts. Bronte came to live with us at 8weeks old and she was such a pleasure to own, she was always so gentle with my kids( they were only babies themselves when we got her) and she just loved people, she never ever displayed any aggression towards anyone, Im sure she would have helped any burglars carry the furniture out..lol
My daughter is having a really hard time especially with this, she is only 8, she just breaks down and cries all the time:(
I have a special song that I love to play in Brontes memory...
Phil Collins - You'll Be In My Heart....the words are so touching, it makes me cry but they are tears of joy remembering our sweet girl.

I am so sorry to hear about Bronte. I too come to this page and cry until the words on the screen are a blur. I have 4 Rottie's and the oldest Czar is going through some troubles within the past year. I know someday soon he will no longer be with us. Knowing this is more upsetting than anything!!! Bronte seems like a great friend and how you cared for her when she was alive is what matters most.

I'm sorry for your loss of Bronte. They are so special and their love so unconditional.

Hopefully soon, you and your daughter will start smiling more when you remember Bronte's antics together.

Bronte is watching over all of you and waiting with all of ours that are at the Bridge.

Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts, yes she was a truly wonderful companion, we now have a little pup Behla( also a rotty:) and she is such a joy so I think that does help us a little, onthedl74 Czar is in my thoughts too:)

Julia: I know how heartbroken you are, as I am still grieving myself. I know that we did the right thing, but it is so hard not having the companionship. I am glad to know I am not the only one who still cries. It was a month on the 1st of Sept. , but I just feel so empty without Zeke. He was very special to me. You are in my thoughts, and hang in there. :)

Thankyou LORHEL, I know what you mean about feeling empty, they leave a huge void in our lives and it just didn't seem right that Bronte was not here anymore, one day I swear I even heard her bark!........yes I was that bad. I would take my kids to the park and then start to cry , my son said " what's wrong? Bronte? come on lets go mum too many sad memories here" isn't he gorgeous he is only 10!. LORHEL as you see I am still a blithering mess so No you are not the only one
