I'm very sorry for your loss. Sofia was such a luck dog to have found you. It is not easy when the time comes to say goodbye, but you put your feelings aside and thought only of her.

This site is helping me through my grief as I read and respond to others. She sounds like an incredible dog who gave more than we can ever know. Rottweilers have a heart and spirit that is unrivaled. She was lucky to have been with you.

I am so very, very sorry for your loss of Sofia.
Beautiful tribute to your sweet girl.
Sofia knew she was very loved by you - she was your fur kid.
You know deep down you did everything you could have - it was just out of your hands.
You have all those wonderful memories to keep in your heart until you can be together again.
RIP Sofia, fly high with the angels. You are in very good company.

Cry and then be ok. It is so hard to say goodbye. I will be going through it shortly. Right now unconditionally spending every minute and day I have left with my girl. They are so strong and smart. The mishaps and extra work mean nothing when it comes to them not being around tomorrow. May you find peace. Do not feel any guilt and be strong for your Sofia.
