Our Nico

Just wanted to let everyone know that Nico went to the Rainbow Bridge on 17 October 2007. From the pictures below, you can tell that Nico has been around a long time. Nico was more than a pet to us. He was considered our child, Taylor's Big Brother, baby-sitter and protector, Simba's playing partner and a GrandDog to my mother. He will be missed.

Re: Our Nico

Though time does make it a little easier, the pain and loss is always with you! I wish you and your family bright and sunny tomorrows...may your good memories get you through this horrible time...

Re: Our Nico

I am so sorry for your loss. He is absolutely beautiful. I love that you said that he was a granddog to your mother because my mother felt the exact same way. We lost Bear in February and my mother was just as devastated as we were. She told me he was her favorite grandpuppy but not to tell the other 3 dogs that. :) You are so right, they become just like a child and more than a pet to the family. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. RIP Nico

Re: Our Nico

My condolences. I have never felt the pain of losing a dog but just the thought of it breaks my heart.

I love the picture of Nico and the cat. I hope one day our rott and cat can sit next to each other so nicely.

It looks like he was a great ambassador of the breed.

Re: Our Nico

I am so sorry for the profound loss of your family member.

May your bruised heart in time find comfort and smiles... in the memories hiding there.

RIP handsome ole timer. You are renewed, healthy and whole with eternal days of play in the sun and restful star filled nights at the Rainbow Bridge till the day your are reunited with "your peeps".

I love that beautiful picture of Nico with his gray beard. What a handsome boy.

I hope you and your kids are doing OK dealing with the loss of such a dear boy. He looks like he was a very special member of the family.

Re: Our Nico

I am very sorry to hear of Nico's passing, sadly I know how you feel. They truly do become as one of our kids. No matter how long we have them, it's never long enough. I can see by the pictures that he was well loved.

Re: Our Nico

What a sweet boy. It's obvious by your pictures how much you loved and cared for him. We lost our GSD Niko(good name, just a different spelling) in Sept. It's so hard to lose them. My thoughts are with you. RIP Nico.
