My boy, Buster
I let my boy Buster go to the bridge. I am not even sure what to say but some of you know him and I wanted to let you know. He kind of grew up here.

I feel like I am in some kind of in between place. He and I were so connected and now I feel so very disconnected.

Anyway, for those of you that remember him..................

Oh, Bruce....

I am so very very sorry for your loss. Our dear canine companions--our joy is they they become so dear to us, have such an effect on our lives, and are so close to us. Our sadness is that it's for a blink of an eye.

We love them so much, but they never live with us long enough.

Of course we remember him (and YOU).....I'm so sorry he's gone. I know that disconnected feeling, like the earth fell from beneath you. You'll find it again, it just takes time to regain your footing. Take care.

Bruce,

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I think I know what you're feeling, having just put my senior Rott, Diesel to sleep one week ago tomorrow.

Please know that you're in my thoughts. I take comfort knowing that Buster and Diesel are running around playing. We'll see them again...

P.S. I remember your Buster. I have a young Rott (2 years old) named Busta--he's named for the first prime minister of Jamaica. First time I saw your posts I thought how similar our dogs' names were.
