Rip Pep

I just got off the phone with my sister in-law. They just lost their 2 yr old golden. His name was Pep and it fit him to a T.

Steph let him out to potty, checked on him about 5 minutes later and he was just laying in the yard. No heartbeat or anything. She took him to the emergency room, but it was too late. She will be having an autopsy to determine what happened.

I just saw him last week. 100lb big goofy loveable furball. RIP Pep. You're now with your "cousins" Niko, Coco and Mack. We'll miss your goofy antics.

Shawn

What a heartbreaking post. I am so sorry for her shocking loss.

I'm glad she's having an autopsy done.

Re: Rip Pep

Dane-I just saw that.Thanks. I have already printed it to give to Steph so she can show it to the clinic where they are doing the autopsy. It did give me goosebumps though.. I mean both goldens almost the same age and circumstances. I am really anxious to see what the results are.

Re: Rip Pep

I am so sorry to hear of your cousins loss, I lost my newfoundland to prostate cancer, annd my chocolate lab to heart failure. Both shocking. Now I have rotties and I love them dearly, they're like by babies.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your poor golden friend. My neighbors have one of them, they are just the sweetest, goofiest dogs I have ever known. Sorry to hear about Pep.
