| Spencer Spencer was diagnosed with osteosarcoma three weeks ago on his front left leg. We decided not to amputate nor chemo but to treat his pain. He is on two drugs now but they are no helping him much. He limps although not quite as bad, it hurts to see him getting up and following me everywhere I go. As painful as it is for him to get up and walk, it didn't stop him from following me from room to room. I love him too much to see him hurt this way. Tomorrow will be the day we take his pain away. He is very special to me. After losing Dumbo, my 12.5 year old rottie, Spencer came along. It took me more than half a year to finally decide to get another one and another 3 months to find the perfect one. He is only 10...so young. |

| Re: Spencer I am so very, very sorry for your loss of Spencer. It is so hard to see them in pain and know you are limited with medical treatment. Although it is one of the hardest things to ever have to go through - we are the ones that have to be strong and take care of our beloved pets until the very end including taking away their suffering and pain and letting them pass on to the Rainbow Bridge in peace. I understand your feeling of deep loss. RIP Spencer, fly high with the angels...

| Re: Spencer We are all faced with this decision at one time or another. I can only tell you I know your pain. Knowing what you have to do eats me at least up inside. I felt the same way with Ceasar and I knew there was nothing else to do. God Bless Spencer and just find some comfort in knowing he is out of pain and with very good company. God Bless, Debbie I really know how you feel! |

| Re: Spencer The greatest gift of love that we give our dogs is freeing them from their pain. I am so sorry.
