| 5 yrs today Its been 5 yrs today since you left me and I still miss you terribly everyday. The pain really does not go away, Ive just learned to live with it. Before you came into my life, I would have never thought that a dog could mean SO much to me and since you have left, I cant ever imagine one coming close to you. I HAVE to take comfort in knowing that you are well and able to run like the wind and chase those pesky squirrels all day, that Zeke and Roxie are with you. But am I selfish to still want you here???? I miss you, Chivas; always and forever. I will play "My Girl" today and in my mind, I will imagine you "dancing" to it. I love you. Momma

| Re: 5 yrs today Sending you a big {{{hug}}} today. Reading your post...words fail me. Missing our heart dog is a lifetime affair. Our hearts must now find comfort in the many memories that bring a smile to our face that we are also blessed with because they chose us to love...and that too lasts a lifetime. "Your Girl's" heart is filled with your love for all eternity...and I bet she will dance to her song. Days of play in the warm sun and restful star filled nights for our babies until we meet again. | Re: 5 yrs today Understanding how you feel, and knowing no words will comfort you: remember someday you both will be together again. Know she surrounds you in spirit, and try to focus on the moments that can put a smile on your face. I am sorry for your loss...

| Re: 5 yrs today I am so sorry for the pain...You are so right, it never goes away but simply subsides for us to live...We all understand all to well the emotions that you are experiencing, we have been there too...My heart breaks for you on this anniversary...Anniversaries are difficult...I hope that today will bring you smiles when you think about your special girl dancing to your song...One day you will see her again as she runs toward you surrounding you with hugs and slurpy, slobbery kisses...'Til you meet again at the bridge...
