KRONUS, my special first Rottie

Kronus was my first rottie, I lost him last summer, not sure what happened to him, he was fine before dinner, and when I went out to play with like I did everynight, he was dead.

To those who remember your first Rott, you can guess how painful it was. I still visit him as I buried him out in the field where he used to run and play with the goats we have. I think even the goats miss him, he never harmed them, and would sometimes just sleep with them at night.

I kept him penned up at night, but he was good at getting out. LOL

He was and will always be my first buddy. He did enjoy everything we did, he would go to the store, gas station, etc.... Always got a good response from everyone that met him, its been a year now, and I still catch myself missing him.

I finally made the decision to buy another Rottie and now I have 2, and as much as I love them, they both together can not fill the void left by my Kronie. I sure hope there is a special place for dogs, cause he sure needs to be there.

Good by my friend, may we meet again someday, and I look forward to chasing you around the yard. I still have your favorite rope, its in my closet, and I no other dog will ever see it.

With all the saddness I feel, I hope you are happy wherever you are my friend.

Don't worry, Kronus is happy up there running all day and playing with so many other best friends that we have lost. We all do hope that some day we will be able to hold them in our arms again.

Thank you, that was very nice, liked reading it. I sure hope that I can play with him again someday, and maybe when that day comes, he can meet my other two when they pass on from this world.

The memories certainly are bitter sweet...aren't they? I too believe we will all be reunited with our loving companions in a far better place.
