Re: Our boy Bruce

Such sad news...I was so hoping for your little boy to pull through. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at this most difficult time.
RIP Bruce

Re: Our boy Bruce

Thank you all so much for your kind words. It helps a lot. Our vet contacted the parvo vaccine company yesterday and they have offered to pay $1500 of his treatment. It helps but it doesn't bring our boy back. we are just sick about all of it. we had him for just a short time, but had already made a deep special bond with him. Our other dog Bandit misses his brother!

Re: Our boy Bruce

I am so sorry to hear this. He has many new friends, young and old, to play with and learn the ropes from at the Bridge.

Everyone did everything they could -- don't beat yourselves up over that. Sometimes the worst happens no matter how we work to avoid it.

Re: Our boy Bruce

This is so sad an so unfair, but as brief as his precious life was, he knew he was loved by wonderful people. He only knew kindness and that is what is matters to a dog. You were there for him! I am so sorry you lost him. I know after saying good bye to one of my own, how horrible this feeling is. Keep posting, we all care very much and are here to help you get through this. God's speed little one.
