Miss you

Well its been a month since my 9.5 year old female rott died of lymphoma and she was doing good with treatment and out of no where she gets really bad and died in my arms one month ago today the crazy part is that right before we left for the vet that day she layed down on the floor, she wouldn't get up so I got on the floor next to her she pushed up against me, I gave her a hug and a kiss and told her that i loved her and i would be fine and that she could go rest now , now right after i said that she took one last deep breath and just passed on. Been a month and I always thought that i would be ready for it was i wrong. I'll miss you Chula and I will never forget you.

Re: Miss you

God Bless You ......it does get [a little] better with time but you never forget them and sometimes your heart hurts so bad. When I get sad about my Champ-I always try and think of the good times we had together and the goofy things he did.

Re: Miss you

It does get better. It's been four months since Daisy died, and more and more I am able to think of her playing in her wading pool, throwing balls in the toilet, being frightened by the little bunny on the front lawn, snoring sound asleep on her back with her long legs splayed out. I miss her every day, but more and more I can think of the good times. I still hear her sneeze occasionally and put my hand down to touch her head. It does get better, but my love for her will never end.

Re: Miss you

Saying I will be OK...you can go now if it's time...good bye....love you always...and rest well, is so hard. May knowing that you will be reunited at the bridge someday bring peace to your heart.

Re: Miss you

To be able to hug Chula and tell her those things was truly a wonderful gift to your girl!
Yes, you can look forward to seeing Chula at the bridge one day.
RIP Chula, fly high with the angels...
