Cleo is no longer with me

My baby is gone. I had to put her to sleep yesterday completely unexpectant.
She was good last week she even swam in the pool. But sunday she was tired and laying around, it was hard to get up for her. She bumped in to the furniture and looked at me with those brown eyes for help.
Then monday afternoon she went through her leggs and I raced her to the vet. Greg said that her stomach was swollen because probably of another tumor and her heart was racing real rapidly. He gave her a steroid shot for the night.
It was so hard to make the decision but I couldn't let her suffer anymore.
The vet came yesterdayevening to the house and she went so peacefully in my arms, with her face to mine laying on the floor. It hurts so bad but I knew she would be in a better place now free of pain and suffering.
We burried her in the yard in the spot where she would always go look at the turkeys.
I will miss her bark, her brown eye, sweet face her soft touch. I will miss her love and kisses which were so sweet. But I know she is better off now.
