Merry Christmas Vello and Blackstar!!!

The kids (Darren and Michelle) said you two wished us a Merry Christmas this morning because the picture of the two of you fell for no reason....so we're here to send you our Merry Christmas wishes!!

Elke, Apollo and Aika were in the middle of package opening just like both of you did. None of them bark their "wooohoooo look what she got!" after each package was opened like you did Vello. I think you knew about Christmas more than the average dog.

I miss your "just because" kisses Star. Even after being without you by my side for 7 years; I still feel you there. It's a good feeling most days...and I know the kids still think about you often. (When Apollo bugs them by taking their pillows or shoes they have said "Blackstar would make you give that back you dumb dog!")

Neither of you got to meet Taylor but, lemme tell ya...she, at 2 yrs old would have had you two jumping through hoops just like she does the rest of the dogs! Her first word was "platz" LOL http://www.rottweiler.net/rottie/smile.gif I think she's going to be the trainer of the family guys ::very big grin:: I look forward to passing the torch to her someday. That little girl is a "natural"....you would have loved her sooooo much (she sneaks good stuff to the dogs http://www.rottweiler.net/rottie/wink.gif )

Vello, you left me years and years before you should have. You were, by far, my greatest "teacher". Training you was like working with a gifted student....you amazed me and everyone who had the honor of knowing you. You paved the way for the other dogs.
Susie still talks about you. She has Aik now (you remember him don't you) but still says that you would have stood on the podium at the Nationals. She said that you and I understood each other like no other team she has seen. (now you KNOW that Susie doesn't pass out compliments so that one REALLY meant a lot!)

There's a special place at the Bridge for working dogs...Vello, I'm sure you're still breaking in all the new helpers and sleeves just like you did here http://www.rottweiler.net/rottie/smile.gif Blackstar, I'm sure you're still putting the dumbell back in the equiptment bag after your done. You're such a neat boy...always picked up your toys yourself and put them away.
