Helga passed over

Helga was 5 1/2 and had hip dysplasia/arthritis for the past couple of years or more. She was on anit-inflamatory med for the past couple of months. Her pain was so intense that she finally could not even walk up and even down at times our steps from our back door. She was gentle, intelligent, and loveable even with the pain and loved children. She was like a child to me; she was with me constantly as I work from my home. She always wanted to be with me. We had her put to sleep by a vet in our own home in her favorite spot on the carpet. I was with her to the last. It hurts very much, and I wonder if there could have been any other way but the vet seemed to think it was the right thing to do, after 4 visits to our home as Helga could not even get into the car. She still tried at times to play and go for a walk with me tho right until almost the last day. She is resting on our property along with two other rotties -- both had same problem. Elrob
