To My Drakkar

It has been 6 months since I lost you to that terrible disease. I know you suffered at the end and I know in my heart that we did the right thing by letting you go. But OH HOW IT HURTS not to have you in our lives.

I see a sadness in Dayna's eyes, she misses playing with you and steeling all the toys away from you to show she was the boss. She no longer has anyone to boss around. You were my first Rottie Boy, you were my shadow and I miss your big head on my bed, the sound of you howling when a siren could be heard, I just miss all of you! But especially the love and devotion you gave to me. I was so honoured to have you in my life. I still cry for you and I must concentrate and cherish the time we spent together. I look at your picture everyday and remember what a cute little puppy you were and what a magnificent Rottie boy you became. I also cannot help but think of how sick you were before you left us. I am sorry you had to go through that.

We miss you big guy, Dayna is taking care of your stuffed toys for you.

I miss you with all my heart and you are never far from my thoughts!
