Only One Thing from Santa

A few weekends ago my daughter (6 1/2) came to me crying. I asked why are you crying? She said she wanted to change her list she sent to Santa. She now only wants one thing for Christmas - "For Santa to give Gretta her life back". (Gretta passed on Nov. 5 from osteosarcoma) I then sat, cried too, and talked to her telling her that Rambo was lonely in heaven and Gretta was in a lot of pain. God didn't want Gretta to be in pain anymore and thought she would be better off with Rambo and painfree with God. It has taken my daughter over a month now to admit Gretta has passed. This statement has bothered me tremendously. I just hope I answered as best as I could for Michelle.
