I would like to thank everyone who gave kind words after I lost my Brenner. Its been over a week and do you know, she had that certan smell about her, a warm comforting smell, and every now and again I seem to smell it in the air and for some reason I am sure she is ther tugging at my trouser leg as she did when I came home from being out. All your messages have been a great comfort to me and I read them when I am feeling low. Brenna is safe in my heart and free to run where she likes and she gets fresh flowers every day in my garden, where she sleeps with her toys. My dear little Fern is still a little bit lonely, but shes getting extra play times and walkies, and i have even joined a ring craft group and we have some open shows coming up this year. This by far has been the hardest emotional time for my family, but all your words have made me much stronger to look ahead. I carry a photo of Bren with me all the time, and I have her name tag on my key ring so I can touch it when I feel the need to. One thing that I have learnt is that the special bond, the unconditional love, complete trust can only come from our four legged friends, I just wish they could live our whole lives with us.
