Never knew it would be so hard!

Exactly a week ago we had to say good-bye to our 7 1/2 year old rottie due to bone cancer.
It came on so sudden. Boz loved to skateboard and on New Years Eve we thought he had a skateboarding accident because he started limping on his right front leg. We took him to the vet and they thought it was just swollen and perscribed him an anti-inflammatory. Which seemed to help for about 2 weeks. Then he couldnt even get up once he layed down. So again we took him back, thinking he was probably favoring his leg which made the rest of him sore. That afternoon the vet called and said he was in advanced stages of bone cancer and his lymph nodes were effected and he was in extreme pain. He gave him maybe two weeks. We couldnt stand to watch our Boz in pain and made the hardest decision we ever had to make, and put him to sleep the next day. We went in with him and stayed with him till the end. It was the hardest thing we've ever done. He is so missed. It is so quiet at our house without him, he was always with us.I just wish we had more time with him. Never take your time for granted. Boz, we just want you to know how much your missed and pray everyday you are now happy and out of pain. You were the most loyal friend anyone could ever ask for. All our love forever, Mommy & Daddy :(
