For Niki - from her Vet

My vet sent me this today with a sympathy card for my Niki. Just when I think I am starting to function again, I get this beautiful poem. I wish I could scan it to here, but I don't know how, but this is it:

God looked around His garden,
And found an empty space,
He then looked down upon this
Earth,
And saw your furry face.
He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest,
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.
He knew that you were suffereing,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew you might never be well,
Upon this earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyes,
And whispered "Peace Be Thine."
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you never went alone,
For part of me went with you,
The day God called you Home.

I can't even type this without crying, but I thought it was beautiful and wanted to share it.
