Re: Please Help

Hi guys, monday night we deciced to take Bailey for a check up at our vets. to ask for advice. More xrays were taken and the vet said that in the time since our last visit (just before christmas) Bailey's mobility had lessoned to a great extent and after viewing the second lot of xrays on his spine & back legs he felt that Bays would need extensive operations, treatment, months of caged rest and a life time of multiple tablets. My husband and I along with the advice of our vet decided that all this along with Bays unstable tempremant would make Baileys life a difficult one. So with a huge cuddle a lot of tears and a broken heart our Bailey took his last breath. I still today do not know if I jumped in too soon and made the wrong decision but My big boy is pain free now and no longer suffering. Bailey in the 8mths we had you the love you gave will last a lifetime. Missing you always loving you forever.

Re: Goodbye Baily

You gave him the best you could offer in the last 8 months of his life. He was brought into this world, more than likely, by a less than reputable breeder, and you gave him what he needed. You did the right thing by giving him a peaceful reprieve, and you can't second guess that. I hope that you can be at ease soon, and know that you did a good thing, both before Monday and after, for Bailey.
Rest easy, Bailey...

I am sorry you had to make that choice. But now he is pain free in more
ways than one. Hugs to you.

Re: Goodbye Baily

You did the right thing... you gave him the greatest gift you can give your dog, to release him from his pain and evident mental anguish. Treasure your memories of how he was before, and keep busy with your girl. He's in great company at the Bridge.
