Til we meet again
We say goodbye tonight to yet another Frontier family member

SG Rated Frontier Enchanted Elisha HICs, OFA good, SAS II/VI
4/25/94 - 12/27/06 (here's a picture of her as a young adult )

Elisha had been becoming older and older acting each week, but she was still doing well for her age and especially considering she was grade 2 SAS. However Christmas day she woke up ill and called it quits. We had an appt the next day to send her off and yet she seemed to perk up so I cancelled. We took a walk and enjoyed the day. She woke me at 3 am today heading downward again and I knew it was time no matter what I had hoped.

At 5pm tonight we said Goodbye, it was time. It WAS HARD. Even the vet cried.

And now Elisha is gone, Hailey left a couple weeks ago, their Mom's Angelica (13 years 2 months) and Molly (11 years 10 months) and all the others are gone too. ALL I have to show for nearly 22 years in the breed and 14 years of breeding are Bill (8 years 2 months) and Annie (15 months), all my other household Dog family members are dead and gone along with bits and pieces of my heart (NO slight meant to Bea, I'm talking about dogs of my own creation. I love Bea like she was one of those, though!!!)

May Annie and Bill have very long and healthy lives and not leave me too soon. I have not had just 5 dogs in more than 12 years!

I am so truly sorry for your loss, I just lost my girl 5.5 yrs young about 8 weeks ago, and I still miss her so much. I hope time will heal your pain. I hope all of our babies live a long, long, time. RIP Elisha

Diane,

I'm so sorry to hear you have gone through this yet again. She knew you loved her, right to the end. And, you have a whole pack of Rottie angels to watch over you.

I am so sorry to hear about your most recent loss. It's never a good time to say goodbye but during the holidays is specially hard

Diane,
I'm so sad you have lost another of your babies. Too many gone too soon. The kids are together, watching over you!
Take care....you know you gave them the best home any family could.

diane, i don't know you, just from reading your posts here. but your post til we meet again is so heartbreaking. i wish i had more words to offer than simply "i am so sorry for your hurt and loss".

Aw Diane... I simply can't believe that I am sitting here, reading about another one of yours gone to the Bridge. I can't believe it. For some reason, you are being tested to your limits. I sure hope that those limits are realized soon.
I can't imagine what you are going through, but please know that you are in my prayers tonight.
